BED OFFICE | 2025
Interactive Installation (work in progress) - Bed, Pillows, Plinths, Laptops, 150cm x 350cm x 250cm
In a post-pandemic society, we have grown accustomed to “work-from-home” culture - sometimes referred to as the “bed office” - where meetings and professional exchanges unfold from the intimacy of one’s own bed. Expanding on this condition, Flynn invites audiences to enter the bed space as a boardroom, not shared with colleagues, but with oneself. The work offers an invitation to self-reflection through the multiple perspectives of a multi-screen laptop installation. The bed functions as a further provocation, evoking sexuality and vulnerability as we navigate the fragile boundary between physical privacy and digital publicity.
